  • Internet packs can be activated through USSD, SMS, IVR, MyGP, Easynet, WoW Box, Customer Service, GP website and any other Grameenphone Authorized Channels
  • Auto-renew option of any internet pack is turned OFF by default (except BS prepaid and post- paid customers). However customer can turn ON Auto Renewal feature after or during package activation.
  • To turn ON auto renew option after package activation, SMS "ON" to 25000 or dial *121*3042#. Also customer can turn off Auto renew by sending SMS "OFF" to 25000 or dial*121*3043#.
  • To check internet balance, please dial *121*1*4#.
  • After expiration (Volume or Validity) of every internet pack maximum PayGo charge will be 6.6625 Taka (inclusive VAT, SD & SC)
  • Unused Data Volume will be carried forward if the customer purchases the same pack within the active validity period or in case of successful auto renewal.
  • Auto renewal of internet packages will occur based on volume or validity whichever expires first (customers with Auto renew consent only)
  • To Cancel your Internet Package, dial *121*3041#.
  • Using Multiple applications at the same time when volume is low, it may result in extra usage fee, so please close applications before moving on to others
  • To enjoy higher internet speed customers need to use a 4G enabled phone & be within 4G network
  • Average likely speed will depend on multiple factors such as handset, website visited, distance from BTS, time of the day, etc.
  • The Internet Volume Purchased from a Campaign Pack, will be used before the Internet Volume Purchased from a Regular Internet Pack.
  • Internet Packs are not applicable for skitto users
  • To check internet speed customer can visit  http://www.speedtest.net  (Data Charge Applicable)
  • Download  Terms and Conditions  in PDF format
  • During Internet pack or offer purchase, for 'Payment through bKash or cards', purchase limit for prepaid customer is between 20 taka - 1000 taka and for postpaid customer 20 taka - 50000 taka.
  • During pack purchase, for 'Payment through bKash or cards' any prior subscription free or emergency balance usage will be deducted from the amount recharged for pack or offer purchase. In that case internet pack or Offer that you have selected may not be activated.

Social Pack:

  • If Social Internet Volume finishes before expiry date and there is no remaining regular internet volume in any other internet account expiration (Volume or Validity) of every internet pack  maximum PayGo rate will be 6.6625 Tk( inclusive VAT, SD & SC).
  • While availing Social internet packs, if there is no remaining regular internet volume in any other internet account expiration (Volume or Validity) of every internet pack maximum PayGo rate will be 6.6625 Tk (inclusive VAT, SD &SC) or Dial*121*3# to buy a data pack for any other internet usage (except Facebook & twitter browsing).
  • Voice and video call from FB messenger is not part of this package. Internet charge Tk 1.3325/MB (Inclusive of SD+VAT+SC) up to 6.6625 tk is applicable for FB messenger voice and video call if there is no remaining regular internet volume in any other internet account.
  • Customer will not be able to browse mentioned sites through proxy based browsers. Customers can only use default web browser and apps
  • During Internet pack or offer purchase, for 'Payment through bKash or cards', purchase limit for prepaid customer is between 20 taka - 1000 taka and for postpaid customer 20 taka - 50000 taka.

STAR Pack:

  • Customer can buy STAR internet packs & get STAR status for 3 months
  • Status will be updated on 11th of the following month. (i.e. If customer buys pack on 25th Oct or 4th Nov, status will be given on 11th Nov). 
  • If customer already with higher STAR status buys a pack with lower status, higher STAR status will prevail
  • This offer is not applicable for GPPP, BPO, ERS & Skitto connection

VoLTE (Voice over LTE) is a technology that enables voice calling over 4G. Also, users can experience HD quality crystal clear voice with faster call setup time. Without VoLTE, your phone must drop back to 2G and 3G during voice calls. VoLTE allows users to stay on the 4G network during voice calls and can continue to have un-interrupted high-speed 4G internet experience. VoLTE calls will be charged in exactly the same manner as 2G and 3G voice calls. There are no additional data charges.

What do I need to start VoLTE services?

To enjoy our VoLTE services, both caller and receiver should ensure following:

  • USIM/4G SIM. This should be inserted in the SIM slot with data capability and “network mode” as 4G/3G/2G (Auto)
  • VoLTE enabled Handset and enable VoLTE option in the phone
  • To be in GP 4G coverage.
  • Need to have the upgraded OS Software provided by your handset manufacturer

What is the difference between normal voice calls & VoLTE?

VoLTE users will experience true HD voice. Grameenphone customers with VoLTE services can experience superior call quality and faster call setup time compared to normal voice calls.

What is the difference between 4G/LTE & VoLTE?

VoLTE call is only applicable to GP-to-GP operators.

Will there be any extra charges for VoLTE services?

No. VoLTE calls will be charged in exactly the same manner as 3G or 2G voice calls.

Will VoLTE calls consume data? Is there any chance of bill shock, if

I use VoLTE?

No. VoLTE calls will be charged as per your existing voice plan/pack. There are no additional data charges.

Can all 4G handsets be available for VoLTE services? Or do you have

any special handsets or settings for using VoLTE?

No. All 4G handsets will not support VoLTE at a time. Grameenphone has enabled VoLTE service in their network. But the handset manufacturer needs to release the relevant Software updates

How do I know the handset is VoLTE enabled during purchase?

Eligible handset model will be published in Grameenphone website. Also, customer can ask retailer/seller.

Will VoLTE Technology Increase Current Speed of the current 4G?

VoLTE allows users to stay on the 4G network during voice calls. There will be no impact on internet speed.

Will the mobile battery charge end sooner in VoLTE Technologies?

No. Rather it is expected battery performance will increase.

How do I know that my handset/SIM is ready to use VoLTE?

Will I get VoLTE network if I use my USIM in slot 2 in a dual SIM

handset?

VoLTE works on 4G network. So if slot 2 supports 4G, you will get VoLTE service.

Why is my phone showing 3G/2G when I am within VoLTE coverage?

It depends on the network situation of that particular location. GP is always committed to provide superior network to ensure consistent and improved network quality.

What will happen if I move into an area with no VoLTE coverage?

You will have to make calls over 3G and 2G

Will video call be available for calling other operators in VoLTE

network?

VoLTE service is applicable to video-call if both caller and receiver handsets have video over LTE enabled.

Can I enjoy VoLTE service while roaming overseas?

Sorry, 4G calling does not work while you are roaming overseas. But you will still be able to make calls using 3G and 2G networks.

Will VoLTE network be available for both Prepaid & Postpaid

customers?

Yes. It will be same for both prepaid and postpaid.

Will VoLTE network be available across the country?

Yes. VoLTE will work across the country where Grameenphone 4G network is available.

If I put a VoLTE/LTE SIM on my 3G handset, will it work?

Payment Settlement and Delivery of Products

  • www.grameenphone.comallows payment with a limited number of Debit Cards and Credit Cards. The transactions will be executed by an appointed "Payment Gateway". The Payment Gateway is a separate organization that will collect your payment and forward it to the processing bank for further execution. The Payment Gateway will be responsible for executing all transactions with your banks.
  • In order to be able to buy overwww.grameenphone.comyou need to register first. Grameenphone guarantees the price as of the purchase day will remain valid till delivery date. That means if the price increases or decreases after your order, you will not be charged for price increment or returned any amount for price decrement from the order price.

User Agreement

The User acknowledges and agrees to the following terms of e-Services as lay down by the Service Provider. Also, the User agrees to allow the Service Provider to process the personal information given herein for use in the Service Provider's telecom-service provision. The User shall not revoke this consent during the use of My Grameenphone.

Terms of service and user agreement

  1. The User agrees that any action done through My Grameenphone under the Users' User ID and Password shall be complete and binding to the User, without the need for the User to affix signature on any document.
  2. It is the User's duty to keep User ID and Password confidential, and not to disclose this information to any other person. The User may change the Password through procedures laid down by the Service Provider. If the User forgets the User ID or Password, the User may follow guidelines and procedures specified by the Service Provider on its web site, or call Grameenphone's call center, hotline no. 121, for advice to restores the Users' use of My Grameenphone.
  3. In the event that the User types in the wrong User ID and/or Password more often than allowed by the Service Provider, the Service Provider shall suspend the User's use of My Grameenphone until the User contacts the Service Provider to request new User ID and Password.
  4. The User agrees that any action done through My Grameenphone must be used for services relating to cell-phone services provided by the Service Provider only. If the User violates the rights of or causes damages to the Service Provider or any other person, the User shall be liable to civil and criminal action.
  5. The User acknowledges that any record, evidence or document prepared by and/or recorded by the Service Provider in its database about the User's usage through My Grameenphone, are accurate and can be used as evidence.
  6. The User agrees that the Service Provider shall not be liable for interruption in services while using My Grameenphone or any damages caused to the User through My Grameenphone, regardless of cause, including, but not limited to, communication failure, computer-system failure, and power failure that prevent the User from using the My Grameenphone.
  7. The User agrees not to use this web site for any other commercial purpose and/or any other use that runs against the law and/or good morals. Also, the User agrees not to send or distribute virus programs or any other program that is designed to obstruct, devastate or damage computer programs, telecommunications tools and/or any other equipment.
  8. The User agrees to allow the Service Provider to use the User's My Grameenphone usage information for the purposes of improving the Service Provider's services, or distributing the Service Providers' news, benefits, promotions and offers.
  9. The User understands and acknowledges that the personal information provided in the registration for the My Grameenphone shall be sent via Internet, which is a public network, to the Service Provider who shall use effort and caution in preventing an outside party from gaining access to this personal information. However, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any damages that arise from events where an outside party has seen and/or used the User's personal information.
  10. The Service Provider reserves the right to cancel the My Grameenphone service, or change the Terms of Service and the User Agreement for the My Grameenphone without prior notice to the User.

The best use out of any price plan will depend on actual usage and other parameter of each customer. You have full right not to accept the suggestion. The package advisor tool is applicable only for Voice prepaid and Data packages.
